Brad Meltzer
Boys of Steel!

'Last Son' Premier Review...

The day has come and gone. 'Last Son', a documentary on Siegel and Shuster and the creation of Superman premiered yesterday in Cleveland. I was one of the lucky ones who got to sit and watch one of the most informative hours of my life. I thought I knew alot about Superman, Jerry, Joe, etc., but Brad schooled me with this!

It really has alot of information that no one knew. Where did the 'S' logo come from? Why does he have a spit curl? Who was the original model for Lois Lane? What really happened to Jerry's father? Was he really murdered? So many questions have now been answered. I cant wait till it is available to the public, it will change everything you knew about Jerry and Joe!

You can check out Brad's blog with some photos, stories, etc. HERE

"Living in Superman's House"
Weekend America Public Radio did a show on Jerry Siegel's House.

Siegel's house is now owned by Jefferson and Hattie Gray. The African-American couple moved into it in 1983. They had no idea about its place in comic-book history. They liked the Glenville neighborhood where the house stood and decided that it was spacious enough for their growing family.

Then the city of Cleveland declared their house a historic landmark three years later. And fans, sometimes by the busload, started knocking on their door.

You can read the artcile and listen to the segment HERE
